Diet Schmiet!
Blame it on my lack of willpower, but my so-called detox diet has just gone down the drain, unfortunately.
I was planning to 'detoxify' my gut (just coz I was eating so much junk the few weeks leading up to the exams & I wanted to clear my digestive system a bit, not to lose weight, people! It just doesn't work that way) by only eating fruits and drinking lemonade/lime juice for a week, but it lasted a mere 3 days before the sweet aroma of carbs and protein and fat (and sambal! See, it's all your fault Viks! jk ;D) got to me yesterday.
Oh well, I still have loads of apples and pears to finish before I go home this Friday. Ooh, can't wait (to go home, not to eat)!
Tried to start packing yesterday as well as rearrange the furniture in my room for the next academic year. Somehow it's become something like an annual/term-ly exercise for me since college - I just have the urge to move stuff around my room to create a different atmosphere. Maybe it's because I can't do that in my room at home because it is just too spartan - a bed, a wardrobe (which is stuck to the ground and celing hence you can't move it even if you wanted to), and a huge shelf. No wait, let me correct myself...currently I don't have a room in my house back home. I've been officially 'kicked out' of my room since my mom 'refurbished' it as a newlywed's room for my elder brother and my sister-in-law when they got married a couple of years ago (since he used to share a room with my eldest brother before that).
But going back to my room in the UK...Let's just put it this way, it's not easy to rearrange furniture which weigh more than what I weigh, not when you're trying to do it alone. And especially more when there're tons and tons of files/books/papers/rubbish/clothes lying around the room as well. And the most frustrating thing (not to mention the most tiring) is when you have to take EVERYTHING out of the drawers or cupboard so that it's light enough to move, but after pushing and dragging it to the other end of the room, you decide 'Hmmm, it doesn't look right' and you just shift it back to its original spot! Oh well, I asked for it, didn't I? But at least I don't have to pack and move this summer, which is always good ^g^
On the brighter side, I went (summer) shopping yesterday with a couple of friends. Bought a spring/autumn jacket for GPB5 and a black top for GPB2 in NEXT! Sweet!!
How can you resist, when everything's so cheap, and when you actually or eventually find something that you like in your size? ;D Planning to do a little bit more shopping before I go home.
Ack..viva list will be out tomorrow. Anxiety galore! Gonna resume watching Tsubasa Chronicles now and keep on procrastinating with my packing, as usual! And since I can't upload any more images right now (don't ask me why, but it's just refusing to be uploaded. Will try again later), I'll leave you with a few vids of my fav Bleach intro song (season 1 & season 2) and Naruto ending song - I just lurveee the chibi characters! So cute! (yeah yeah...I have kinda weird music tastes don't I hahaha)
