Back for good...?

Wow...I haven't written in here for so long that I forgot which username and which password I used for my own blog :P Which can't be a good thing. Early signs of dementia? I hope not... I had gotten a few comments from people who asked 'Eh, y so long never update your blog wan? Everytime only see the February post...what la!!' Oops....gomen nasai mina-san... Lazy mar, what to do. I have attempted quite a few times to put in a new post between Feb and now actually, but after a couple of sentences, I always left it for some other time to complete my post...which obviously never happened :D Oh well.

It's Easter holidays now, and I'm already halfway into the 2nd (and final) week of my very short decent 2 weeks of holidays. Can't complain, knowing how some other people only got the weekend off! My first (and maybe last?) Easter hols that I've not gone anywhere, done any travelling, or spent shit loads of money. Well, maybe I did spend some money...but not as much as I would have if I had gone travelling. Spent loads of money eating out this last few weeks. Ahhh..but worth it la. Dim sum, sushi, otoro sashimi (the best!!! yummy!!), chinese, english, italian, more chinese food... If i haven't put on any pounds (in weight) I'll be very happy liao :D

What else have I been doing then? Had planned to go to Notts, but that didn't happen. Wrong timing, too expensive, procrastinated too much. On the other hand, have been hooked onto Korean dramas though the last couple of months. Discovered a few streaming sites which are really good eheheh --> crunchyroll.com, dailymotion.com, peekvid.com (don't really like this one), veoh.com, and of course, when all else fails, there's always youtube to turn to. Although
some most of them have quite predictable storylines, and loads of them have crappy endings (crappy endings = people die and lovers don't end up together living happily ever after...I like fairytale endings, so what ), I'm still liking it!!
Many of the Korean actors and actresses are quite cute/pretty/good-looking (whatever you want to call it), but loads of them seem to be very tall though, compared to the average Asian. Most of the guys seem to be 180cm+, and many of the actresses are 170cm+. Damn. I want to be taller too. And slimmer. And weigh lighter. And prettier. Ahhh...I can just keep on dreaming... dream dream dreammmmm.....Well, at least I picked up a few Korean words... kamsahamnida = thank u (although they have about a hundred different words to say tq as well), mian (or mianhamnida) = i'm sorry, saranghamnida / sarangne = i love u (sarang = love, sarang = nest in malay... love nest? hmmmm) and a few others which I can probably say but can't spell! My new obsession? Maybe... Below is one of my fav songs currently from the many K-dramas that I watched...It's called Perhaps Love ( i thk) from the drama Goong a.k.a. Princess Hours.

Went mahjong-ing in Aspers a couple of times til 6am in the last 2 weeks. Wah..now that's definitely something for the holidays heheh =) Had really really bad luck yesterday night though, as I lost about 80% of the time!! Luckily no money involved, don't worry! Whew! But it was still good fun :) Think this Pig Year is definitely not going to be good for me lah. Was sick on my birthday, sliced my finger on CNY's eve, was sick (literally puked) on CNY, have been ill quite a few times since especially during my paeds rotation (yes i know i skived quite a lot, but half the time i was really sick...honest!), having sneezing fits now, tripped and fell a couple of times in the last week, and being really amazingly lazy. Ok, the last one is just me being me hahaha, but the rest does seem to add up to quite a crappy year at times...and it's only April!

But putting that aside, most of the other times have been really good, and good fun too. With my housemates and with friends. It's been decent with my studies too (although I must give myself a D- for effort sometimes :P). There have been ups and downs, frustrations and misunderstandings, but hey, what's life without some interesting events to spice it up right? I just hope that in the end, all will work out to be how it's supposed to be. Maybe something for another post another time. Don't feel like elaborating now.

We've had Edwin's and Vik's birthdays last month, and Nit's 22nd just on the past 8th of April. Bet she's enjoying her time back home in Msia eating all the yummy food. ;) There's another person's birthday coming up some time soon...hmmm wonder who that is? What to get for the b'day present ar? Maybe the £10 juicer from Argos huh... :D we'll see!!

My little effort at making an orange-butter cake for Viks...with frosting that I myself don't eat :D

Obscene? What do you think...?

Birthday boy + the girls...well, mostly :)

Surprise! .>_<.

Spent the whole day today in bed. In my bed clothes. Dang...! Doing absolutely nothing productive except check my emails a hundred and one times while playing freecell when the £^&*("£$* router is d/c (yeay!! both my electives have been approved..so happy!!), eat my lunch and dinner, poke KahYin in facebook, and look for houses for next year. *groan* Fingers crossed that there'll be something good and reasonable left for us at this point in time! Ooh, I nearly forgot. And how could I have...(must have really wanted to put it behind me now)...we also had Malaysian Nite '07 last month!! Haha...Had been so busy and tired with it that it totally slipped my mind to post something on it. I'll post some pictures la! A picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words right, so a few pictures could amount to a few hundred thousand words? Right....
