Another weekend gone by...and it's February already!
Time passes wayyyyy too fast for my liking sometimes. Especially when you're a procrastinator like me and have not accomplished anything on my list of to-do things in the last month! I've still not kau-tim my KL electives yet, got my audit to do (which is currently URGENT and at the top of my list), have wanted to put captions on the photos that I've uploaded in the last few entries but keep putting it off juz cos' I don't feel like it, having a look through the many anaesthesia books that I've borrowed, but have a sneaky suspicion that I'll end up returning all of them w/o touching the books, among other things!! IN just a blink of an eye, it's already February of 2007, and we've only got 11 months to go before it's 2008! And that's the year that I'm supposed to graduate and start working as a health professional!! Mannnnnn....too fast too fast. Need to make the most of the remaining time I have as a student!!
Had quite a laid back weekend. Cooked for my housemates today, 4 simple dishes, but I had to make do with whatever I had at home. But I must say my powers of estimation has gotten a wee bit better, as all the food was just about finished (with me sapu-ing the remaining piece of chicken so that it doesn't go to waste or go into the refrigerator...alang alang!). We still had a bowl of rice leftover, but that was because I'd cooked extra 1 cup of rice initially anyway, intending it to be for tomorrow's lunch. It shall be for tomorrow's dinner then, since there's no meat/vege leftover!! yeay!! ^_^ Tried my hand at baking egg tarts yesterday...the egg custard turned out pretty well (as long as you don't overcook it, otherwise it becomes a bit dry and forms air bubbles on the surface), but some of the pastry kinda stuck to the paper-thingys though. Shall attempt it again sometime soon in the future!
Malaysian Nite '07 is coming up soon, 14th of March to be exact, in the Student Union's Bassment! I wonder if I committed myself to too many different things.. :P hmmm...I will have to work it out somehow, but I'm pretty excited about it!! And it's a good time to put my 'powers of persuasion' (re: forcing people to join a performance) to use as well!! Hahaha..Will write more about it later, when everything's clearer and more decided!
One last week in anaesthesia, but I have enjoyed myself pretty much so far. Wonder if this could be an option for a career path in the future?? Hmmmmm.....
