What a weekend!
Oh yes, what a weekend it's been. Busy, tired, but satisfying! Dinner turned out pretty well I think (or at least I hope). Time for my 'Oscars-wannabe thank you speech' now:
Thank goodness it was faster than my time! Hehehe. We then went for fish & chips after that at Colman's. The lady waitress wouldn't allow me & Sarah to order 2 kiddy-sized meals for £2.95 each, so we ordered one adult-sized fish'n'chip meal for £5.50 to share. The restaurant rugi only lah (£2.95 x 2 = £5.90). Not our problem! Going to & from South Shields was an experience in itself though. We were packed like sardines in a can, literally, and we waited an hour and a half to get on the Metro to get back to Newcastle. Whew! The only down point for the day was that my boy lost his beloved green waterproof jacket though. Poor thing.
Earlier in the day, after going to the Tyne Bridge,me & Imaan & I went to Next's sale. Then we went to get Imaan some lovely ear piercings (sakitttt...not! ;D). Then went to MK One. Bloody hell, just like that I spent £33 on clothings liao.
Darn it. Keep me away from the eviiilll sales!!
Oh well, a new week has come, and with it comes new unknowns for us to live through...e.g. you never know what your bloody PMS is gonna put you through for that day/week (but that's another topic for another time! like, maybe tomorrow.
)
- Thanks to everyone for turning up and finishing nearly all the food
- Thanks to Alvin for blistering his arms & hands while helping me to fry ALL the chicken, and to Luke for chopping them up. Ganas! (Oops, I meant chopping the chicken, not Alvin's hands)
- Thanks to the rest (you know who u are) for offering to come help, but Alvin was first to offer and there was nothing much 3++ people in the kitchen could do at the same time anyway (blame it on the limited stove space...there was only so much we could do at any one time). As they say, too many cooks spoil the broth ya.
- Thanks to my housemates, both past and present for helping to wash the dishes and clean up the kitchen. It really took a load off my mind and gave me some time to rest.
- Thanks to everyone else
whowhomthat I didn't mention (coz I'm getting old and have a poor memory you see, so don't blame me.I am turing the grand old age of 24 in less than 4 months time you know!*Hint hint!*) that helped sedikit sebanyak as well (pre-, during & post-dinner). Arigato gozaimasu!!
